Dear Scruff, I raised money from selling sunflowers and left a donation box by the register. Keep up the good work! (Phyllis H, Rotterdam, NY)

Our next clinic will take place on Sunday, September 19. If interested in making a spay or neuter appointment for a community cat, please call us at 518-526-3372. Check back again to learn of future spay dates and thank you for your support!

During our regularly scheduled clinics, cats receive a basic health exam, rabies and distemper vaccinations, flea treatment and pain meds, in addition to a spay/neuter surgery. An ear tip is also performed to clearly identify the cat as altered and vaccinated in order to prevent future trapping/transport/anesthesia for surgery that is not needed. These services are offered at a low cost. Cats are monitored closely throughout the surgical process and discharged when they are fully awake and responsive.
Feral cat is weighed, receives pain medication, flea treatment, and fluids after surgical procedure at the monthly SCRUFF spay clinic
Feral felines are notoriously skittish. Batman, on the right, is no exception. He rarely makes an appearance in public. One of our SCRUFF folks caught this photo of a very relaxed Batman. And, yes, he has been through TNvR!
