What Happens At One of Our Clinics?

During our regularly scheduled clinics, cats receive a basic health exam, rabies and distemper vaccinations, flea treatment and pain meds, in addition to a spay/neuter surgery. An ear tip is also performed to clearly identify the cat as altered and vaccinated in order to prevent future trapping/transport/anesthesia for surgery that is not needed. These services are offered at a low cost. Cats are monitored closely throughout the surgical process and discharged when they are fully awake and responsive.

Update: SCRUFF Clinic at APF

June 20, 2021 SCRUFF resumed holding their monthly spay day clinics at the Animal Protective Foundation (APF). Our last in person clinic at APF was March 2020, but we weathered the pandemic and we are back!! There are too many people to thank, but all are appreciated by Team SCRUFF and the cats. Thanks to the veterinarians, vet technicians, volunteers, and trappers we changed the lives of 36 cats at our first clinic in 2021 . We had a very successful and rewarding day. Even though we didn’t have a monthly clinic during 2020, utilizing other options, SCRUFF still spayed, neutered and vaccinated 474 cats!
