45 Community Cats Visit SCRUFF & APF for July Spay Day

The SCRUFF July 2025 Spay Day was a big success as we were able to spay/neuter 45 “community cats” in a humane manner. This was accomplished with through our partnership with the Animal Protective Foundation of Schenectady. We work closely with the APF to control the population of feral cats, and TNVR is how we are able to do that. April Spay Day Coming Up

The say that April Showers bring May flowers, but April also brings our second Spay Day of 2025. Mark your calendars for April 20. SCRUFF conducts monthly spay day clinics at the Animal Protective Foundation (APF) at 53 Maple Ave, Schenectady, NY. Our 2025 Spay Day schedule is available here. First Spay Day of 2025 Great Success!

SCRUFF is excited to announce that we held our first spay day clinic at the APF (Animal Protective Foundation) and it was a great success! We vetted 44 cats and helped them begin the 2025 season with a better quality of life! Trap/Neuter/Vaccinate/Return (TNVR) works, and our 22 volunteers were just fantastic!
